Heybeliada Walking-Talking

• The full tour around Heybeliada (the grand tour as the islanders call it) is more than10,000 steps and takes about 2.5 hours. Since the entire route is on foot, werecommend comfortable walking shoes.

• Meeting time is 10:30, meeting point is Bahar Cafe located between the two piers. (Those who get off at Heybeliada City Lines Pier will walk to the right and thosewho get off at Mavi Marmara Pier will walk about 50 meters to the left and see theBahar Cafe sign).

• There will be two breaks during the walk.

• Depending on your hunger and fullness, we recommend you to keep snacks, water, sandwiches in your bag.

• At Hagios Spyridon Monastery there is only a drink (Turkish Coffee); if you wish, youcan eat the snacks you brought with you here with a drink. In the SanatoriumGarden, tea, coffee, cold drinks, pancakes and toasts are available.

• At the break places where we will sit with a beautiful sea view, those who wish can have a light lunch with the food they bring with them, or those who wish can order at the break place and have a picnic lunch.

• Some of the structures written in the walking program will only be seen from theoutside, there are structures that are closed because they are under renovation or do not qualify as a museum. In this case, only an explanation will be given from theoutside.

• The march will end where we started at 15.00 (Bahar Cafe).
